Transformation

Alchemist Jiji allows to apply a variety of visual effects to the character. These effects have no set duration and persist through area loading screens and death. They can be removed through the same menu used to configure them by selecting the 'None' option individually for each effect, or selecting the 'Clear Transformations' to remove all of them.

These changes are only visual and do not affect the stats and effects of the armor currently equipped, it is an aesthetic mechanic.

Armor Transformation

The armor transformations are divided in:

• Head Transformation: Applies an armor illusion to the head part of the character.
• Body Transformation: Applies an armor illusion to the rest of the body of the character.

Visual Transformation

The visual transformations are divided in:

• Weapon Emission: Applies a visual effect to currently equipped weapons, persists through weapon swapping and can be set individually for each hand.
• Head Emission: Applies a visual effect to the head part of the character's body.
• Body Emission: Applies a visual effect to the entire character's body.
• Eye Emission: Applies a visual effect to the character's eyes.
• Humanity Aura: Canges the humanity visual state of the character.
• Body Aura: Changes the character's appearance to that of a phantom. The color can be freely choosen.
• Body Tint: Similar to 'Body Aura', but gives a more subdued color without changing the character to look like a phantom. Has a larger effect on equipment, allowing to change its color. The color can be freely choosen.
• Clear Transformations: Removes all currently applied effects.

Perspective Transformations

The perspective transformations are divided in:

• Field of View: Adjusts the camera field of view.
• Distance: Adjusts the camera distance.

Notes

• The Transformation menu might ask to reload the area in some cases, simply saving and reloading the character save file will allow to use the menu.
• Transformation effects might flicker while in the shrine, this is normal and and stops happening once outside of the shrine and in other areas.
• Conjurator Ellie can apply visual effects similar to the 'Transformation Effects' from Jiji to alter the appearance of conjurated allies.
