Status Effects

There are five status effects that can affect the player and enemies. This is shown by a bar on your screen with an icon of the ailment.

Poison

If Poison is inflicted on the player, a purple status bar will appear. As Poison is inflicted repeatedly, the status bar will become increasingly full, and when maxed, the Poison effect will occur.

The amount of Poison build up inflicted by weapons wielded by the player is influenced by Luck.

Effects

  • Lasts 30/40/50/60 seconds. Depends on weapon type.
  • Deals 30 + 0.05% damage per second.
  • Reduces enemy attack by 10% whilst active.

Toxic

If Toxic is inflicted on the player, a purple status bar will appear. As Toxic is inflicted repeatedly, the status bar will fill until it is maxed, which is when the Toxic effect will occur.

Luck does not increase the amount of Toxic buildup inflicted by weapons wielded by the player.

Effects

  • Lasts 60/90 seconds. Depends on weapon type.
  • Deals 50 + 0.05% damage per second.
  • Reduces enemy attack by 10% whilst active.

Bleed

If Bleed is inflicted on the player, a purple status bar will appear. As Bleed is inflicted repeatedly, the status bar will becoming increasingly fulled, until it is maxed out, which is when the Bleed effect will occur.

The amount of Bleed build up inflicted by weapons wielded by the player is influenced by Luck.

Priscilla's Scythe Bleed effect does more damage than other weapons when activated, dealing 500 + 10% of the target's max HP.

  • Deals 100/150/200 on proc. Depends on weapon type.
  • Deals 5% damage of the target's max HP on proc.

Frost

If the player is hit by a Frost attack, a purple status bar will appear. As Frost damage is inflicted repeatedly, the status bar will fill, until it is maxed, which is when the Frostbite effect will occur.

Frostbite has a cooldown time before you can start building up frostbite again; this cooldown time can be instantly reset by hitting the target with fire damage.

Luck does not increase the amount of Frost buildup inflicted by weapons wielded by the player.

  • Lasts 10 seconds
  • Deals 50/75/100 damage on proc. Depends on weapon type.
  • Deals 2.5% damage of the target's max HP on proc.
  • Reduces all enemy absorptions by 10% whilst active, and reduces Stamina Recovery by 10.

Curse

If Curse is inflicted on the player, a purple status bar will appear. As Curse is inflicted repeatedly, the status bar will fill up until it is maxed out, which is when the Curse effect will occur.

Luck does not increase the amount of Curse buildup inflicted by weapons wielded by the player.

Effects

  • Lasts until death/warp once applied. Resting at a Bonfire or using a Purging Stone will heal Curse build up, but they won't remove Curse stacks.
  • Reduces absorption by 10% on proc. Stacks.
  • Reduces damage by 5% on proc. Stacks.
