Lothric Castle:

  • In the spot where two Hollow Assassins ambush the player, by the Dragon Barracks bonfire.
  • On the path leading out from the dark room by the right (golden) wyvern (The path overlooks the location of the previous lizard).

Archdragon Peak:

  • In the building before the encounter with the non-boss Ancient Wyvern.

Grand Archives:

  • When facing the Crystal Sage's initial spawnpoint upon entering the archives, there will be staircases to your left. The crystal lizard will be at the top.
  • In the dark room immediately following the big wax vat.

  • Drop down to the bookcases through the broken barrier on the bridge with the final encounter with the Crystal Sage.
  • From the first elevator shortcut for this area, travel up the stairs and go past the Scholars to locate another set of stairs. The lizard will be located at the very top of this staircase.
  • From each of the 2 lizards outside on the roof area with the Gargoyles.

Painted World of Ariandel:

  • Up the Millwood Knight occupied tower in the snowfield.
  • Along the mountain path leading down from the Rope Bridge Cave bonfire towards the Corvian Settlement.
  • Up and around the side of the Corvian Settlement bonfire house (from the bonfire, head outside and over the bridge, turn to the house on your left, go over the bridge behind it, follow the path up, and jump over a small gap to reach the area)
  • Up in the area above the rooftops in the Corvian Settlement, on a walkway leading into a tower just under a Corvian Knight.
  • In the basement, past the illusory wall leading to the infested area with Giant Flies.
  • Past the room behind the illusory wall in the Giant Fly basement of Ariandel's Chapel.
  • On the tree roots down from Ariandel's chapel to the depths of the painting, accessible by breaking the bridge.

The Ringed City:

  • From the Mausoleum Lookout bonfire proceed towards the Judicator and through the Ruin Archers, dropping down to the right, half way along.
  • From Shira, head all the way down the steps past the Harald Knights, into the swamp, turn left and ascend the ladder by the Hollow Clerics, and head up.
  • In the Shared Graves.
  • The stairs leading up from the first time you fight Midir, towards the statue of Gwyn and the shortcut back to the Ringed Inner Wall bonfire.

Notes

  • Non-respawning, non-hostile enemies which flees when approached by the player.
  • When nearby, the player can hear a distinct twinkling sound.
  • It's loot is automatically placed in your inventory after the lizard dies.
  • If you miss your chance to kill a crystal lizard, then reload the area and it will reappear (this can be achieved by: dying, traveling at the bonfire or quitting and loading the game)
