Gestures

Gestures can be used to communicate with other players or activate some in-game events.
The gesture menu can be accessed by pressing the Select / Back button.
They can also be used to obtain certain hidden items or access areas when the right gesture is performed at the relevant location.

Initially, only seven gestures are available, but several more can be unlocked while progressing through the game, most of them by talking to various Characters.

	Applause	Received by talking to Ringfinger Leonhard after defeating the Darkwraith in High Wall of Lothric at his request.
	Quiet Resolve	Acquired by talking to Anri of Astora when meeting her next to the Church of Yorshka bonfire in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley.
	Jump For Joy	Automatically Received.
	Joy	Automatically Received.
	Rejoice	Received from Siegward of Catarina when returning his armor, Catarina Set, in the well.
	Hurrah	Talk to Blacksmith Andre.
	Praise the Sun	Received from praying at the Altar of Sunlight in Lothric Castle.
	My Thanks	Received after being invaded by Knight Slayer Tsorig in the Catacombs of Carthus. Also when killed by Tsorig in Smouldering Lake
	Bow	Automatically Received.
	Proper Bow	Received after summoning Yellowfinger Heysel in Farron Keep between the Keep Ruins bonfire and the Wolf's Blood Gate. (Must have given Rosaria at least one Pale Tongue).
	Dignified Bow	Received from meeting Yuria of Londor.
	Duel Bow	Received after summoning Londor Pale Shade before Pontiff Sulyvahn or Abyss Watchers.
	Legion Etiquette	Pray to the Old Wolf of Farron
	Darkmoon Loyalty	Received from Sirris of the Sunless Realms when meeting her in Firelink Shrine for the second time.
	By My Sword	Received after summoning Black Hand Gotthard before the Abyss Watchers or Pontiff Sulyvahn.
	Prayer	Received from Irina.
	Silent Ally	Given by Orbeck of Vinheim after giving him any Sorcery Scroll and defeating Oceiros, the Consumed King.
	Rest	Rest at a Bonfire.
	Collapse	Received from meeting Hawkwood.
	Patches Squat	Talk to Unbreakable Patches once he becomes a merchant at Firelink Shrine
	Prostration	Talk to Unbreakable Patches after raising the bridge he lowered that you were crossing when he was disguised as Siegward of Catarina and choosing "You know me" dialog option
	Toast	Received by talking to Siegward of Catarina after defeating the demon in Undead Settlement.
	Sleep	Talk to Siegward of Catarina when he says he's going to take a nap after fighting the Fire Demon in Undead Settlement.
	Curl Up	Talk to Greirat of the Undead Settlement after giving him Loretta's Bone and resting at the bonfire.
	Stretch Out	Found on the corpse of Laddersmith Gilligan on the first bonfire in Profaned Capital.
	Path of the Dragon	Talk to Hawkwood the Deserter and select the 'Learn Gesture' option. Found on a corpse past Oceiros, the Consumed King.
	Unmannered Bow	Talk to Cornyx of the Great Swamp and select the 'Learn Gesture' option.
	Shrug	Talk to the Shrine Handmaid and select the 'Learn Gesture' option.
	Well! What is it!	Received from meeting Ringfinger Leonhard.
	Confused	Talk to Greirat of the Undead Settlement and select the 'Learn Gesture' option.
	Look Skyward	Received from meeting the Undead Settlement Giant.
	Praise the Heavens	Talk to Irina of Carim and select the 'Learn Gesture' option.
	Retch	Received from interacting with Archdeacon McDonnell.
	Dismissive Point	Talk to Yuria of Londor and select the 'Learn Gesture' option.

• The 'Point Down', 'Dismissive Point' and 'Well! What is it!' gestures can be parried.
