Lore

General Information

Lordran Remnants appear in a staggered fashion, starting with the Lord's Blade, and then the Dragonslayer when she is around 20% to 25%, then the Abyss Walker when the Dragonslayer is around 10% to 10%.

Gough will fire arrows upon the player during the boss fight. Gough's Arrows are shot in a rain-like fashion and are easily noticeable. The cooldown between volleys is 10 to 20 seconds.

Gough only fires in the open area of the arena. Placing yourself behind the Fog Gate or inside the building helps avoiding the volleys almost completely.

Location

Summons

  • No Phantoms available for this fight.

Drops

Moveset

The Lord's Blade uses the same moveset as the Cathedral Grave Warden.

The Dragonslayer uses the same moveset as The Nameless King.

The Abyss Walker uses the same moveset as the Second Phase of the Soul of Cinder.

Strategies

  • 1 v 1 the knights strategy :

- Pull the Lord's Blade at the Boss Entrance area and fight her there, you'll avoid the volleys of arrows and give yourself some time to kill her before the Dragonslayer can get to you. Don't hesitate to equip new rings and weapons and/or buff/heal yourself between each ennemy.
- Be aware that the Dragonslayer can still throw his waves of wind at you while approaching, so be mindful.
- This problem isn't present with the Abyss Walker, who stays put until you decide to approach him.

Against The Lord's Blade :
- Since she's Hollow, using the Blight Ring is a plus.
- Rolling to her sides lets you avoid the majority of her attacks.
- Using any big weapons (ex : Greatsword, Curved Greatsword, Ultra Greatsword) will stagger her almost every time and stops her from attacking.
- Poison is the easiest status effect you can inflict on her. Using a Gravelord Sword with the Poison infusion lets you poison her in only two hits.

Against the Dragonslayer :

- The Dragonslayer is no Hollow/Undead/Demon, so adjust your equipment before throwing yourself at him.
- The Dragonslayer hits hard and deals additional lightning damage after losing 50% health.
- Poison will help you end the fight against him quicker.

  • Super Journalist Cheese (spells) :

- Lure Ciaran away from the middle of the arena.
- Stunlock Ciaran with a fast attacking weapon, like Sellsword Twinblades, and knock her down using Crystal Soul Spear/Soul Spear/Sunlight Spear/Lothric Holy Spear/Other fast spell with good damage that knocks down enemies.
- When Ornstein appears, waste all your stamina and FP on killing Ciaran fast.
- Fight Ornstein like you would fight Nameless King, lure him away too, and when Artorias appears, run away from both of them and cast Soul Spears to kill Ornstein, then run around arena, dodging everything Artorias throws, and equip your spell tool in left hand and Saint's talisman or another HP regenerating item.
- Shoot your Crystal Soul Spear/Soul Spear/Sunlight Spear/Lothric Holy Spear/Other fast spell with good damage that knocks down enemies until he dies.
- To minimize risks, bring Tears of Denial and if they are broken, find a window to cast it back and continue.

Notes

  • The Lord's Blade can be staggered consistently with weapons such as Greatsword, Ultra Greatsword or Scythe, thus making the First Phase of the fight easier.
  • The Lord's Blade can be backstabbed.
  • The Lord's Blade is considered Hollow.
  • Can be respawned with Enemy Revival.
