Strategies

• A well timed parry at the beginning of fight can lead in to a chain of devastating ripostes, trivializing an otherwise difficult encounter.

• Anri, Gotthard, and the Pale Shade all pull their weight in this fight, helping to give the player breathing room to heal and regenerate stamina.

• The Pontiff's attacks can deal 4 different types of damage, but always at least two. The potential damage types are Thrust, Standard, Magic, and Fire.

Notes
