- Master of Corruption cannot be disabled once the mode is enabled until all maluses have been obtained or after starting the next New Game cycle, but the maluses themselves can be sold to remove their negative effects in case they become too overwhelming to an unprepared player. It is required to warp to another area or reload the character save after selling any maluses to fully remove their effects. Using a tome to revive a boss and then defeating them will give the malus and activate it again as normal.
